WTI expands insert offering
WTI Fasteners recently announced the addition of KATO Tangless products to its stock range, including KATO's Tangless inserts and associated tooling
KATO Tangless threaded inserts have been added to the already extensive range of options offered by Leicestershire based WTI Fasteners. Tangless® inserts, which require special Tangless® inserting tools, are bi-directional helically-coiled wire inserts featuring a notch at both ends rather than a tang at one end of the insert. It means that Tangless® inserts do not need to be oriented during the installation process, and also removes the need to break off the tang, something which is especially useful to installers when working with blind holes
