Pulsed mode provides short, controlled bursts, giving neat, consistent spots with less heat input. Non-pulsed mode provides a continuous output; that's great for seams, but more heat goes into the material.
Spot welding with a laser minimises distortion on thin materials and provides clean, consistent spots with less heat input and less post-weld finishing. The pulse mode is built-in, so no extra kit is required. You get spot welding, seam welding and cleaning from one machine.
