Ultrasonic welding lightens new Kamiq
Telsonic ultrasonic welding has been leading the way with light weight joining on the new Skoda Kamiq
Rather than use mechanical fasteners on its Kamiq model, Skoda engineers instead chose the advantages offered by ultrasonic welding. The technology was embraced in a number of applications on the vehicle, thanks to assistance and equipment from Telsonic. Included amongst these parts featuring ultrasonic joining are airflow components for the intake and also thin-wall welding on bumper reinforcement structures.
