3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive 2214 Hi-Density/Regular is designed to provide high strength, higher temperature resistance and smooth bond lines.

One part, 250ºF (121ºC) curing, 100% solids, these high performance adhesives are designed for bonding metals and many high temperature plastics, such as fibreglass reinforced plastic, polyester and phenolics.

“Our 3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive 2214 Hi-Temp New Formula is designed for use in applications where high-strength bonds are needed in a temperature range of -82 °C to 177 °C,” says the company. “This epoxy adhesive may be applied by spatula, trowel or flow equipment to meet your individual project requirements.” Recommended applications are for high temperature aluminium bonding.

Strengths listed for the adhesive include:

  • Pliable paste consistency goes where needed with no sagging
