New Bollhoff location in Bulgaria
With the acquisition of the company K.E.L. in Bulgaria, Bollhoff is expanding its global network. The formal signing of the contract and the opening ceremony took place at the beginning of January 2025.
The contract was signed on 8 January 2025 at K.E.L.'s headquarters in Pazardzhik, Bulgaria. With this signature, the Bulgarian distributor of joining and fastening technology is now part of the Bollhoff Group and strengthens Bollhoff's global presence - now with locations in 26 countries. Before the takeover, K.E.L. and Bollhoff already had a successful business relationship over many years.
The aim of the Bollhoff site in Bulgaria is to support local customers with our entire know-how in the field of joining technology and thus gain further market share. Numerous tier 1 suppliers to the automotive industry are represented on the Bulgarian market, among others. In addition, the country also has strong sheet metal and aluminium processing industries.
A total of 6 employees work in the new Bollhoff office and warehouse in Pazardzhik. Depending on market developments, further employees will be added in the future.
