JET PRESS welcomes two new members to its team
Following its recent acquisition of Mechfast, JET PRESS is delighted to officially welcome two highly experienced professionals to the JET PRESS and Components Direct team - Nicola and Sam.
With decades of combined experience in the fastener and fixings industry, both Nicola and Sam bring valuable expertise, industry insight and long-standing customer relationships that will strengthen our capabilities and enhance the service we provide to our customers.
Nicola - Industry expertise and leadership
Nicola began her career in the fastener industry in 1997 after completing an NVQ in Business Development and working at the Police HQ in Arnold, Nottinghamshire. She soon moved into a role as a Sales Junior at a fastener distribution company and from there her career progressed rapidly.
For the past 18 years, Nicola has played a central role in developing and managing Mechfast. During this time, she has gained extensive product knowledge and built a strong network of industry contacts. She was also instrumental in broadening the company's product range, including the supply and manufacture of both standard and special fasteners. Nicola's leadership, dedication and in-depth knowledge are already proving to be a great asset to JET PRESS.
Sam Over 17 years of fastener knowledge
Sam's journey into the fastener industry began in 2002 and she's since developed deep technical knowledge and experience working closely with customers across various sectors. After initially completing an NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy, she realised her strengths lay elsewhere and went on to work in construction before moving into fastener sales.
Sam joined Mechfast in 2008 and worked alongside Nicola for more than 17 years. Her friendly, approachable style, combined with her strong product knowledge and dedication to customer service, makes her a perfect fit for the Components Direct team.

Nicola and Sam's experience, dedication and customer-first approach align perfectly with JET PRESS's values and ambitions. As it continues to integrate the Mechfast business, JET PRESS is confident their contributions will help it deliver even greater service, expertise and product solutions to customers across the UK and beyond.
