Sealing unwanted galleries in hydraulic bodies is tedious, time-consuming and expensive. But new and improved Avseal Sealing Plugs from STANLEY Engineered Fastening, available from Zygology, provide a fast, reliable and cost-effective alternative.
With Avseal Sealing Plugs, you just pull the trigger and seal holes with no special prep, no heat impact and no leakage possibility. These Sealing Plugs can be used in a variety of hydraulic applications, with working pressures up to 500 bar.
Features include one-sided installation capability, and a fully annealed sleeve, resulting in high sealing performance. The Sealing Plugs offer improved seal and wider hole tolerance, improved stem retention and increased vibration resistance. A tapered sleeve and stem allow for ease of entry with standard tooling.
Avseal Sealing Plugs can be installed rapidly into blind holes, eliminating the need for tapping threads, bolts or ball bearings in the application. Its aluminium sleeve expands radially within the borehole, creating a secure seal, without damaging the internal surface of the component.
