Expander and Volvo CE sign framework contract to extend partnership
Expander, part of the Nord-Lock Group, and Volvo Construction Equipment (CE) have agreed to enter a framework contract. This makes Expander an official supplier to Volvo CE.
With this framework contract now in place, Expander has increased opportunities to support Volvo in equipping their globally trusted machinery with innovative pivot pin systems, which in turn will help operators achieve significant repair and maintenance time savings.
Although the new framework contract represents a significant step in the collaboration between Expander and Volvo CE, the partnership extends far back in time, with Volvo having been a trusted customer to Expander as early as the 1980s. Now, having recently established a framework contract, the partnership between the two innovation-driven Swedish companies is moving into the next phase.
"The framework agreement really paves the way for exploring more beneficial opportunities for Volvo and Expander. The fact that we now have a framework agreement in place signals that there are intentions from both sides to move forward as business partners and search for new ways of collaboration," said Robin Persson, Head of Sales, Business Unit Expander.
