Boker’s adds 369 new washer sizes
Boker's Inc has announced that so far this year, it has added tooling for 369 new non-standard flat washer sizes to its offering.
With the addition of the new sizes, Boker’s says it now offers an extensive portfolio of more than 32,000 non-standard washer, spacer and shim sizes, all available worldwide with no tooling charges. The company has been serving OEMs for over 100 years and states that if there isn’t a tool that meets the exact specifications needed, Boker’s in-house tooling department can produce one to a customers’ exact specifications quickly.
Additionally, Boker’s non-standard precision washers are manufactured in over 2,000 commonly-specified and sometimes difficult-to-find material options. The comprehensive range of sizes includes outside diameters from 0.080” to 12.00” with a wide range of inside diameters, all available with flexible production quantities offering short-, medium and long runs.
In addition to flat washers, other shapes and styles are available in metallic and non-metallic materials says Bokers. Metallic materials include low-carbon steel sheet, various spring steels, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper and nickel silver. Non-metallic materials include ABS, acetal, polyester, nylon, MD nylon, polycarbonate, fiber, polyethylene and various NEMA grade phenolics.
