ARNOLD UMFORMTECHNIK has been awarded the KLIMAWIN certificate by the Baden-Wurttemberg Ministry of the Environment, Climate, and Energy. The company received the award for the successful submission of its 2024 CSR progress report, confirming ARNOLD's forward-looking commitment to climate protection and sustainable business practices.
Klimawin BW is a sustainability-oriented management and reporting system of the state of Baden-Wurttemberg. Participants in the initiative document their responsible actions transparently to the public; since 2024, there has been a special focus on climate protection and environmental awareness.
The Klimawin network (program "Companies Make Climate Protection") now comprises over 380 companies in Baden-Wurttemberg that constructively exchange best practices and work together on a sustainable transformation of the economy.
ARNOLD UMFORMTECHNIK voluntarily joined the Baden-Wurttemberg Climate Alliance (Klimawin program) at the beginning of 2025 and set itself ambitious climate protection goals in the process. ARNOLD plans to reduce its direct greenhouse gas emissions in Scope 1 and 2 by at least 93% by 2035 and to reduce emissions along the value chain (Scope 3) by around 71%. ARNOLD is consistently pursuing these goals with the creation of its current CSR progress report and the implementation of numerous measures - from renewable energies and heat recovery to more efficient processes.
"The KLIMAWIN certificate is visible recognition of our commitment. This recognition motivates us to continue on our path and to keep promoting sustainable solutions," emphasises Bernd Weidner, COO of ARNOLD UMFORMTECHNIK.
